Dave Lim (SG): Home is a Warm Cuppa

June 24, 2022 in Photography

ABOUT THE ART

”The origin of this work was the craving of 豆浆 (soy milk) whilst abroad, and contemplating on what it meant to be asked by loved ones if I was homesick whilst abroad. It was in this intimate flux that the work was produced.” - Dave Lim

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Dave Lim (b. 1994, Singapore) is a visual artist and filmmaker. Coming from a documentary and research background, most of the work reflects conceptual concerns ranging topically from religion to society at large.
